Meet Your Creator & Instructor

Claire McSpadden earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University before completing her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Missouri. She began her career as an educator, working with children in the Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit School Districts.

With a deep interest in holistic well-being, Claire pursued a certification in nutritional psychology from JFK University. In 2018, she became a certified LiveMindful Trainer through Mindful Momentum, a turning point that ignited her passion for integrating mindfulness into all aspects of health and well-being.

This passion led to the creation of Joy In Food, a program designed to help people of all ages develop a mindful and healthy relationship with food. Through Joy In Food, Claire empowers individuals to eat with awareness, embrace nourishment without guilt, and ultimately find joy—not just in food, but in life.
