Jan is an experienced yoga practitioner and instructor whose life was forever changed when she discovered yoga in 1986 after surviving a life-altering burn injury. Since then, she has completed various yoga trainings and has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 20 years. Jan believes in the power of yoga to heal, cultivate self-love, and deepen the mind-body-spirit connection. She is dedicated to helping others awaken to their inner potential through yoga and meditation, emphasizing the importance of breath and stillness. Jan’s gratitude, perseverance, and commitment to personal growth are evident in her teaching. Outside of yoga, she is actively involved in her community and cherishes her experiences traveling and exploring different cultures. Jan and her husband, Tim, reside in Lee’s Summit and share a love for scuba diving, travel, and kayaking.
